I installed a rebuilt distributor; the car still would not run. We spent a lot of time going over the cam timing, sensors, computer, etc....to no avail. I got a Sure Spark Tester to try from Steve and I use it about 1 or 2 times a month. It comes in handy especially on Toyotas and Hondas. In the past, I really didn't find testing coils with an ohm meter to be reliable, so I would install a known good coil as a diagnostic method. This is a better way and no guessing any more.
